Professor Gregory Ibe

Professor Gregory Ibe, is a recognized leader in education, entrepreneurship, and philanthropist.

Professor Ibe founded Gregory University, Uturu, Imo State , Nigeria – an institution with a focus on applied research, entrepreneurship, and career-centered higher education. The University’s mantra “Knowledge for Tomorrow” captures the founder’s profound vision of Africa as the future of the world.

Ibe’s investment in education is shaping science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in Nigeria through his involvement in the supply of the state-of-the-art teaching/learning equipment with innovative pedagogy.

The intervention is currently transforming the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Nigeria at all levels of education. He has implanted entrepreneurship as curricular innovation in education and particularly in Business, Engineering and Technical/Vocational Education.

Educated in Nigeria and United States, Ibe has made education and improvement of governance practices in his native Nigeria priorities of his social entrepreneurship and investment of time and talent.
